Snow is falling, all around, children playing, having fun! Well we are not quite correct about the snow side of things, but one listen to Shakin’ Stevens classic hit and you will be getting in the mood for the Christmas season. Whilst we are still in November, the festive season is about to come storming into our lives again. When you live in London or even visit London, the Christmas season arriving means one thing….Winter Wonderland! There really isn’t anything else like it in our capital during the run up to Christmas. Hyde Park is transformed into a magical Christmas experience, with attractions for all ages no matter how young or old. The park is taken over by winter markets, ice skating rinks, grottos, festive fairground rides, two circuses, an ice kingdom, traditional food stalls and plenty of bars. Opening on Friday 17th November at 5pm. The park will be open daily from 10am-10pm right round to the 2nd January, excluding Christmas Day.
The fact that entry into this magical Winter Wonderland is free is amazing, considering just how much it has to offer, there are plenty of bars around to enjoy a drink with one of our elite London escorts, from the somewhat risky Carousel Bar where you enjoy your favourite tipple whilst going around on a moving carousel, not for the faint hearted. Another popular bar area is in the artic lodges, based around log cabins you would expect to see up a snowy mountain, these cosy heated areas are a perfect place to chill out and unwind with a traditional stein of beer. Our girls are all huge fans of Christmas, and Winter Wonderland brings out the inner child in them as it will do for you, which makes it such a great day out.
There are two other attractions that you simply must do, firstly there is the Magical Ice Kingdom, brace yourself for sub-zero temperatures as you make your way through this jaw dropping arena, which this year is based on the theme of ‘Arctic Adventure’, with huge icebergs, a shipwreck and even a polar bear palace, there really are some fine works of art inside. Secondly we have the giant observation wheel, measuring in at 60 metres high, you will see yourself taken up into the air above the whole park, giving you a great view of the Christmas cheer being spread below. As we mentioned all of our girls love Winter Wonderland, so make a booking today and spread the Christmas cheer.
